cantinflasCantinflas was honored by Google.

The company celebrated the career of the beloved Mexican comedic actor on what would have been his 107th birthday.

Mario Moreno Reyes, born in 1911, started out singing and dancing for change on the streets of Mexico City and ended up finding fame on the big screen.

Charlie Chaplin, to whom he was often compared, reportedly once hailed Cantinflas as the “greatest comedian alive.”

Sunday’s Google Doodle celebrates Cantinflas’ life with illustrations of the actor in some of his films — Ahí está el detalle (1940), El Siete Machos (1951), El patruello 777 (1978) and El barrendero (1981).

VERY cool, Google!
