Call It Friendo is Catchphrase of the Year
Javier Bardem’s frightening line “Call it, friendo”, from the movie No Country For Old Men has been selected as the catchphrase of the year by the Global Language Monitor.
Even though he didn’t write the screenplay, we still credit Javier for the delivery of the line.
Call it, Friendo.

This line came during the most intense parts of the movie - in particular, the brilliantly shot gas station scene. Chills…. Chills…. Call it, Friendo….
