President Bush invited Cabas to sing at the White House to help celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Cabas sang Mi Bombón, Colombia Tierra Querida, and Bonita.
Cabas said he was proud to represent Latinos, especially his home country:
“I believe that part of my mission to play there was to help change the negative image that Colombia has.”
