The music industry needs to understand that looks are not everything. Bey may be pretty, but Shakira is more intelligent. I love the way you compared the 2. I'm not bashing Bey, but she cannot speak different languages (hell she has trouble with her native english), she cannot play any instruments that I know of, her dancing is OK, and everything else you can think of. I am glad someone else sees what I see in other artists, and it's a shame Shakira don't have the respect she deserves. Shaki is my favorite female artist of all time. It's not even funny no more Beyonce is getting anoying copying her style,dance,hair & If that's not enough she used Shakira by inviting her to her video just to prove she can dance better,only that Shakira made her look like a fool in her own video,and she looked like the worst copycat when she came out with her fake hair & exact same shakiras move. Now Beyonce did a song with the spanish artist "Alejandro Sanchez" in spanish. That's the exact same artist that shakira did a song/video for "La tortura" Come on since when did she sing spanish? Belly Dance? I'm glad she is trying to sing in other language like spanish to gain more latin fans,but don't expect that we will buy your cd's if you are copying Shakira. We already have Shakira we don't need 2 of them. If you take the dancers,fake hair,songwriters,and major label from Beyonce she would be NOTHING just a regular talented singer looking real ugly. Now take that all away from Shakira & guess what? She will be the same,you know why? Shakira is a singer/songwriter,plays the guitar & every other instrument,been belly dancing since she was 3,Sings in english/spanish,does her own hair & make up,She speaks 4 languages and has one of the highest IQ ,and to top it off she has done her own production,Including everything to making your own cd.The girl does it all!!!
