Anahi Talks About Televised CD Smashing
Anahi has kept quite about the critic who smashed her album by stepping on it but she finally spoke out about the very rude gesture.
She said:
“It saddened me because for this guys it’s garbage, but for me and my fans its a dream come true, and it’s in really bad taste because it’s as if he was stepping on the dreams of many people, not just mine, and I think there are better ways to say things. I respect his opinion and respect that he thinks my album is garbage, but I think there was a better way to say it.”
Good for you, Anahi, for taking the high road!
What he did was very ugly and nobody deserves that lack of respect.

This critic just honestly stated his opinion. She’s not a gold coin for everybody and should get used to this.

very mature of her…minneola, you do have some truth about her not being a gold coin for everyone but for her fans and as well as her the release of her album with songs on her terms is a huge deal. for 4 yrs she did what she was told to do put out music that the head hanchos wanted and now finally she’s out here with her own stuff that expresses her completely..what that guy did was just pure pure siptefull, now yes he is intitled to his own opinion but he went down to a trashy level.

lol…I respect Anahi and every other artist in the industry…aunque veces se pasen. And yes like Minneola said Anahi is not a gold coin and this industry is a very difficult one because of all the criticism it involves…but come on Minneola would you like it if somebody stepped on something you worked so hard on! Something you devoted your time and effort to create…whether you are a ‘golden coin’ or not! HELL NOOOOO! You would possibly take the criticism without being disrespectful, but deep inside you know you would be cursing the fuck out of whoever over stepped their boundaries and had the damn balls to step on something you created!!! Unless you were really that stupid and didn’t even care about your work in the first place!
Now as far as Anahi goes, like I said, you are right she is no gold coin and the industry she is in will always slap her in the face and criticize her no doubt about that…therefore, given her position in the industry she has no other choice other than to respect others opinions about her for the simple fact that if she responds negatively she’ll get criticized again and again…but we all know damn well how much she would have loved to curse that mother effer out for stepping on something she worked on so hard!!! Hell I don’t even know that girl that well but I am sure if she didn’t have to depend on her actions and words she would have responded this “Ese baboso can kiss my ass for all I care! Yo soy la que gana mas que el y el no me da de comer! Haci que si pisando mi trabajo lo hace sentir mejor perosnal mente y emocinalmente pues solo le doy un consejo…necesita ayuda mental! LOL”
Pero como no se da ella esa opcion of course she is going to be respectful about the opinions of others! Y si, the critic stated his opinion but the way he did it just deserves a slap in the face…no wait, actually he deserves a damn purple eye for all I care! LOL!

Taking the “high road” would be to ignore the offensive critic completely. She’s only giving HIM publicity by speaking about it. Tonta.
If she is the next Shakira or Madonna, I’m the next pope.

Smashing somebody’s album was a very rude and hater thing to do. A lot of people feel that Jennifer Lopez’s albums were garbage, but I didn’t see anyone smashing her album on live tv. It just shows what kind of ridiculous person this guy is. And I wonder if she was a bit older, would the same thing have happened? Probably not because respect would come into question. But since she is young, she is supposed to just take it with a smile on her face.
Everyone doesn’t have to like her. Not everyone loves Britney Spears and Beyonce but they can at least respect them and most importantly, their fans.
I think she took the high road by saying what she said. Pablo, you should know as well as everyone else that the media down there will not let her get away without commenting on the issue. That’s like her being able to say no comment when asked about RBD. It’s just not going to happen.
Kudos to you Anahi and the let the haters get you down.

Genny, do you expect me to have compassion for Anahy and her fans? She’s not better then other artists that were attacked by the critics. Nobody has compassion for them.

Minneola…no, I do not expect you to have compassion for the girl at all! Just like the critic and any other person is entitled to their own opinion, you are too! But this critic just went toooooo far…I am sure we would have all understood the fact that he isn’t very fond on Anahi if he would have just shared his opinion about her album by simply saying that it sucked and he thinks she is whack and her album is no good…but stepping on it…come on! There was definitely no need for that! I’ll give you an example, I recently graduated and got my diploma…do you really think I would like some random person stepping on my diploma, something I worked so hard to get and means something very important to me!? I don’t think so! Trust me on this…all hell will break lose if that ever happened!
So to conclude, I am just saying that the actions the critic took and stating his opinion was just a little over the top! Nobody’s work, wether famous or not famous, deserves to be put on such scrutiny…that’s just bull shit! !?! Sometimes something so insignificant to others is very important to one person…think about it in that sense!
