AB Quintanilla Speaks About Cruz Martinez
Up until this point, we had heard very little out of AB Quintanilla’s mouth in regards to his split from Kumbia Kings and the fallout with Cruz Martinez. AB decided to speak on the Cristina show to discuss some more details about this.
“I feel cheated, hurt…it hurts when someone who is like family betrays you. He is no longer my friend and to me he is like any other person that tries to hurt my family,” said AB.
AB also said that because of Cruz’s decision to take the band to locations he never approved it ended up costing him over $1 million. This is probably not the last we will hear of this. AB has his own band now, they call themselves Kumbia All-Starz, and he took Pee Wee along with him. He could have been more creative considering he left Kumbia Kings, but there is probably some method to the madness here.

gave a flash back to what happened to the Queen of Cumbia, texmex Selena, i think that the Quintanella family has suffered alot, and that AB trusted someone that he spoke about as family, the same way that the Quintanella’s spoke about yolanda saldivar. as to pee wee he is the only one who seems to know what is loyalty. AB you made Kumbia Kings happen.

It’s unfortunate that AB couldn’t take care of this original group, that’s where the money was, not with Abel, Pee Wee, or Pangi. For gods sake, this NINO guy is a joke. Why would you need to add all these characters to dance around like fools. AB is greedy, taking money from these guys. While he was in his hotel suites, eating at fancy resturants, the other shared rooms and borrowed money from each other just to eat. Also, making the guys sit in wait in the bus, while he and his flavor of the month went shopping at the malls. Then he wants to blame Cruz for his own ratial slurs………he needs to move on and forget about “Making the Band”.
