Premios Juventud 2008 : Santamarina and Villanueva
Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the show. It wasn’t the best Premios Juventud (there have been a total of five now) but we understand the magnitude of this type of show and how difficult it is to put on. We do want more for next year, though.
Let’s start with the hosts - Eduardo Santamarina and Mayrin Villanueva. Ummm…we thought this was Premios JUVENTUD??? They made it look more like Premios Mid-Life Crisis.
Did they think that by dressing Eduardo in jeans and cheesy t-shirts that we would be fooled into thinking he was young?
RBD would have been fine hosting by themselves.
PS - What was up with Mayrin’s hideous gladiator dress?
