Jorge Ramos To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award
Jorge Ramos will be the 2008 recipient of the prestigious and coveted Award for a Lifetime of Achievement in Hispanic Television, which is presented collectively by leading television trade publications, Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable.
Jorge isn’t such award-winning…he’s popular too. He gets people interested in the news.
Noticiero Univision, the newscast co-anchored by Jorge, is currently delivering its highest audience levels with Adults 25-54. And, on average, more than half a million viewers tune in every Sunday morning to watch Univision’s Al Punto.
Jorge joins the ranks of noteworthy award recipients who have preceded him, including Don Francisco, Andres Cantor, Maria Celeste Arraras, and Cristina Saralegui.
