Houston Will Host Latin Grammy Awards
The 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Toyota Center in Houston on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008. This marks the first time Houston will host the premier international showcase of Latin music.

ugh, houston is gross! there’s a lot of something there, and it isn’t latinos. and even though its not in dallas, where i live (aka, the greatest city in texas!), i’m glad that somebody finally listened to all my years of complaining and moved one of these awards shows to texas, where it would be equidistant from both coasts.
p.s. the latin grammy awards is not the super bowl, it shouldnt be moved from venue to venue. it should find a permanent home, where it can be honored justly.
